ASOS accepts returns within 28 days of delivery for unworn, unused items with all tags attached; Final Sale items are not returnable.
Returns are free for ASOS account holders on qualifying orders. Guest orders pay a $4.95 returns fee, taken from the refund. ASOS does not offer exchanges: return the item and place a new order.
Refunds go to your original payment method. ASOS can take up to 14 calendar days to receive and process a return, then your bank can take up to 10 business days.

How do I return an ASOS order in the US?
- Start the return in My Account and search for your nearest drop-off point. Carriers and drop-off points depend on your location and are shown during the return.
- ASOS emails you a QR code or a returns label. You can also find it under My Returns.
- Pack the items in the original box or bag if you like, and remove or cover the original delivery label.
- Drop the parcel off within 28 days. For a QR code return, show the code at the United Parcel Service (UPS) location. Your code or label works at any drop-off point of the same carrier.
Changed your mind? You do not need to cancel the return. Simply do not send the items.
Are ASOS returns free?
For account holders, yes on qualifying orders. ASOS does not define "qualifying" on its returns pages. If you checked out as a guest, a $4.95 returns fee applies to all returns and is deducted from your refund.
Under the ASOS Fair Use Policy, ASOS may deduct and keep $4.95 per returned parcel (unless you keep more than $50 of the order) when your return rate is 70% or higher over 3 or more orders, or 80% or higher over 5 or more orders. At 80% it also adds a $4.95 handling fee to your orders. Faulty items, and items ASOS sent you by mistake, can always be returned free.
Delivery and handling costs are not refundable. Items sold and shipped by an ASOS Brand Partner go back to that brand, free, under the brand's own return policy.
How long does an ASOS refund take?
For returns from the United States or Puerto Rico, allow up to 14 calendar days from the day after drop-off for the return to reach the warehouse and be processed. After that, your bank or card issuer may take up to 10 business days.
Refunds go only to the card you paid with. If you paid for the whole order with an ASOS e-gift card, the refund goes to your ASOS account. Any promo code discount is reflected in the refund.
What can you not return to ASOS?
- Final Sale items, other than in exceptional circumstances.
- Face and body products that are opened, used, or missing the protective seal.
- Underwear and swimwear whose hygiene seal is not intact or whose labels are broken.
- Pierced jewelry and face coverings with a tampered or broken seal.
- Anything sent after the 28 days: ASOS may send it back to you and ask you to cover the delivery cost.
Shipping an ASOS return yourself
If you return with a method other than the ASOS QR code or label, you pay for the return, and the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches ASOS. Keep your proof of postage.
