Nike accepts most returns within 60 days of online order delivery or Nike store purchase, for any reason, with proof of purchase.
Returns are free for Nike Members, with a United Parcel Service (UPS) QR code or a prepaid label. Guests ship with a carrier of their choice and pay the shipping.
Nike issues refunds within six business days of receiving your return; cards, Apple Pay and PayPal can take up to 10 more days. Nike Clearance store purchases, Custom Jersey By You jerseys, SNKRS Reserve orders and gift cards cannot be returned.

How do I return a Nike order by mail?
Nike Members
- Start the return or exchange from your order history.
- Get a UPS return QR code, box your items and bring them to The UPS Store within 21 days of starting the return. The QR code only works at The UPS Store locations.
- Or print a prepaid label and drop the box at The UPS Store or a UPS Access Point, or schedule a UPS pickup, which Nike says costs a fee.
Guests
Guests print a return label and ship with the carrier of their choice, covering the shipping cost. The same applies to Instagram orders shipped back. For orders placed through Google, Nike Members can contact Nike to link the order and get a prepaid label.
If you do not use the Nike return label, write your return order number on at least two sides of the box to avoid delays.
Can I return a Nike online order to a store?
Yes, at any Nike store except Nike Clearance stores. Bring the items, your original form of payment, and your order barcode or order number. The store inspects and processes the return on the spot, so you get your refund or replacement faster than by mail.
Gifts returned to a Nike store within 60 days are refunded to a Nike gift card, and so are Instagram orders returned in store. Nike items bought from another retailer go back to that retailer.
How long does a Nike refund take?
Nike processes your return and issues the refund within six business days of receiving it. Then allow up to 10 more days for credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and PayPal; Nike gift cards and product vouchers usually within 24 hours. If you paid with Klarna, Klarna issues the refund. You can check the status at nike.com/orders.
Nike Members also get a price adjustment if an eligible Nike promotion or sale lowers the price of an online purchase within 14 days; the difference goes to the original form of payment.
What can you not return to Nike?
- Items bought at Nike Clearance stores, which also do not accept returns of items bought elsewhere.
- Custom Jersey By You soccer jerseys (no returns or exchanges). Other Nike By You custom sneakers can be returned within 60 days.
- SNKRS Reserve orders and gift cards.
- Nike jewelry that is worn or missing its box, pouch, inserts or tags, and Nike x LEGO sets that are opened.
- Apple Watch accessories after 14 days from delivery.
After 60 days, a potentially defective item is handled under the Nike warranty instead of the return policy. Nike may ask for a valid ID and may limit returns and exchanges.
